Terms of Service
The agreement between you and DomainTier when you use the site, the valuation tools, and the API.
Last updated: July 2, 2026
The service
DomainTier provides domain-name valuations, market data, and related tools. Valuations are estimates produced by a data-driven methodology: informed opinions built from recorded sales and structural evidence. They are not certified appraisals, guarantees of resale value, or financial advice. Actual sale prices depend on buyers, timing, and market conditions we cannot control, and may differ substantially from any estimate.
Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Credits, subscriptions & billing
- Usage is metered in credits. Free accounts receive a monthly credit allowance; paid plans receive a larger allowance that renews on the billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
- Purchased top-up credits remain on your account until used.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Plan upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep what you paid for until then.
- If a billing question or problem comes up, contact support (at) domaintier.com and we'll work it out.
Acceptable use
- Don't circumvent rate limits, quotas, or metering, and don't share or resell API access outside your plan's terms.
- Don't scrape, bulk-extract, or redistribute our sales database or valuation outputs as a competing dataset or service.
- Don't use the service for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
The site, methodology, and data compilations are ours. Valuation reports you generate may be used for your own business purposes (buying, selling, and managing domains), including sharing individual reports.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DomainTier's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or losses arising from decisions made in reliance on a valuation.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
